Topics of Study

SCIENCE
We are currently reviewing for the MEAP exam with content including Scientific Knowledge, Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth & Space Science.

ENGLISH
Students will review concepts such as story elements (characters, plot, setting, theme), sequence, simile, metaphor, personificiation, and other test prep topics for the upcoming MEAP.

READING
The first reading unit is called Nature's Fury.  Students will read numerous fiction and non-fiction texts to learn about various natural disasters.  We will also be reviewing multiple reading strategies.
